Actually I'm quite satisfied with today's episode except for the part that XW suddenly appears helping TS to pull his trident. WTF?? She was in her own body, wasn't she? I mean it literally! How could her soul jump back and forth? Why am I not aware that she has this special soul splitting ability?🤦‍♂️

I know the production team probably wants to water down her "uselessness" but that just goes against logic. She's going to be the heroine anyway when TS collapses. For those who are curious, ahem.. yes, she becomes the selfless blood donor because apparently TS was haemorrhaging badly, just like what douluo said about his ruptured muscles and blood veins.

Yeah I really liked what they did here with TS drawing the Trident. The agony of the ordeal had to be emphasized and they nailed it. Well...until, you know LOL.

I can sympathize. Sea God Island is entertaining and all but if we're being honest, it's basically an excuse to massively power-up Shrek on a shortened time scale, much like other donghua have done. Don't drop it though because the next arc is WAY better. If you're like me you'll be annoyed by QR becoming a bigger fixture in future events, as her character is as shallow as a bird bath imo LOL. But if you can overlook that (and..cough..XW), you'll be in for some of best scenes in the novel..

It really depends on how the studio will animate the final arc, when I read this arc in the novel, it didnt feel draggy, in fact it was interesting, they did leave out some content in the donghua that was in the novel though, if they were in the donghua I believe it would have made it a little better. A lot of bantering between the characters was missing, Xiao Bao was scared when Tang San uses the Ice and Fire liquid on the Orcas, Sea God bullying Xiao Bai everytime she unknowingly says something that helps Tang San and the group, Oscar's seventh ring and ability, etc

The thing about author of the novel, Tang Jia San Shao (TJSS) is that towards the end of his novels, you will feel pumped up, lot's of things going on, then... you are left with a sense of wait a minute, everything is being rushed towards, and at the end it will be WTF?? Is this it? Then you think, maybe the sequel will continue on, the next novel comes out and you are like wait... new main character??

Like many Chinese webnovel authors they dont seem to be able to finish the novel very well, it feels as if it was done in a rush and although most things in the novel are resolved or have their own conclusion, there are some loose ends that makes you feel something is missing that will make the entire novel series a truly great novel

One of the biggest gripe a lot of his readers have is that he keeps putting himself and his sadly departed wife into the world of Douluo Daluo novels, if you arent aware of this, Tang San is actually his alter ego and Xiao Wu is his wife's alter ego, hopefully the latest novel will be the last where he personify himself as Tang San (as he announced) and move on with his life towards a happier direction
